Part of our Academic Suite — the assignments feature covers the full cycle — setting work, collecting it, marking it, and returning it — without any of it living on paper.

Teachers upload an assignment and students access it from their portal, wherever they are. Work is submitted digitally, so nothing is lost between the desk and the staffroom.

Marking happens on screen with the same tools a teacher would use with a pen — highlight the error, write the comment, give the mark. The feedback stays personal; only the paper disappears.

Lumeka supports the assessments CBE actually requires: formative, summative, and custom. Physical assignments can be recorded too, so work done offline still counts towards the learner's record.

Every mark feeds the learner's academic record automatically. Nothing is entered twice, and the analytics are built from real marking rather than a separate data-entry exercise at the end of term.
